Who We Are
Long story short
Headquartered in Blairsville, Georgia, Haggas Construction, Inc. builds custom homes, additions and remodels across the North Georgia mountains — guided by integrity, craftsmanship and genuine care for the community these homes belong to.
Blairsville is a small, close-knit town, and that shapes the way we build. These are homes on roads we drive every day, in a community where good work gets noticed and remembered. Our passion is improving this place without trading away what makes people fall in love with it — views left open, mature trees left standing, and homes designed to belong on their lot instead of competing with it.
For the families we build for, that shows up as straight answers, honest pricing and the same familiar faces from the first excavator on the lot to the final walkthrough. We would rather earn the next project from the last one than sell anyone anything.

Tim And Lisa Haggas
Married To The Craft, And Each Other
Haggas Construction is Tim and Lisa Haggas — a husband and wife who run this company side by side. Tim handles the building: estimates, schedules, crews and everything that happens on site. Lisa leads business development and designs the kitchens, bathrooms, closets and cabinetry. Between the two of them, a project is covered from the first excavator on the lot to the last cabinet pull.
Working with a married couple changes how a job feels. There is no account manager to hand you off to and no committee to hide behind — you talk to the two people whose name is on the company, on the license and on the truck, and you get the same answer from both. When they say your home will be built the way they would build their own, it is because that is exactly what they do.

A third generation contractor with over 30 years of full life cycle construction, Tim personally oversees every project, estimate and schedule. He is motivated by the idea that personal dedication to quality creates superior results, and he stays hands on through every phase of a build — from the first walk of the lot to the final punch list.
Lisa Haggas
Business Development Manager
Lisa builds the relationships and the rooms. She looks after the client experience from the first phone call to the final walkthrough, and she is the designer behind the kitchens, bathrooms, closets and cabinetry Haggas Construction builds — working through layout, storage and finishes with every client.
